Frequently Asked Questions

Therapy can change mindsets, enhance mental and physical wellness, and improve the way we relate to the world and live our lives.

Wanting to engage in therapy because everyone you know is in therapy or because it is the “new thing to do”, is different from truly being ready to invest in the process. Though rewarding, therapy can be emotionally challenging. The issues can feel more amplified before it gets better. Some questions to consider asking yourself are:

1. Am I ready to face the difficult subject matters?;

2. How much time and finances do I have to commit to the process?;

3. Am I ready to prioritize it along with the other important things in my life?
